Privacy Notice

This notice describes information connected with visits to Sunflower County Released Inmates, why it may be processed, and when outside services receive it. The policy applies to this private site, not to sheriff, court, MDOC, federal, or other websites reached through its links.

Information That May Be Collected

Information can arrive in several ways. Search terms entered in a sponsored search box are sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Messages voluntarily sent through a contact channel may include a name, email address, and message text. Review the destination's policy before submitting a name, identifier, contact detail, payment, or other information.

Data Security and Retention

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet transmission, server, or storage method can be guaranteed secure. Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for its operational, legal, security, or support purpose, subject to provider practices and applicable obligations. A visitor should not send sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for a general site question.

Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law and location, a person may have rights to ask what personal information is held, request correction or deletion, or object to certain processing. Visitors Under Eighteen

This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and does not knowingly seek personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian believes a minor submitted personal information, use the contact route so the matter can be reviewed and, where appropriate, removed.

Mississippi Public Records

This private site's data practices are separate from government disclosure duties under the Mississippi Public Records Act, Title 25, Chapter 61. Requests for a sheriff jail docket, MDOC discharge material, or a court record must go to the responsible public body. Data held by that office is governed by its statutes, retention rules, exemptions, and request procedure, not this Privacy Notice.

Changes to This Notice

This notice may be revised as site features, vendors, or legal duties change. An updated version becomes effective when it is posted here. Reviewing the page from time to time is the best way to see the current wording.
